One of the things Andre and I talked most about in St. Louis was a feeling that we both have that we want to develop more ways to add value to chapter membership. We were also reminded during the November conference call with our District Representative, Christian Chreau, that we are a non-profit service organization, and we need to increase our focus beyond the needed improvements to chapter infrastructure, to ways to both serve our constituency and to support the goals of PDK. Andre and I both think that now that we are fully chartered as a permanent chapter, and we have weathered the difficulties of the initial ground-breaking formative years, that we are ready to move more quickly on increasing our power and influence. So these ideas are some ways we've come up with in which we might get moving!
Please click to each idea page for a description, read what others have commented about it, and share your own comments. Which of these ideas would make you feel that your membership in the chapter is well worth the dues you pay? Also, on any of the pages, feel free to mention any ideas you may have that you'd like the rest of us to comment on. What would make you certain that you would want to continue as a member of our chapter for the rest of your life? (These listed ideas are truly intended as discussion prompts, and are certainly not to be thought of as the only ideas we should consider!)
