Idea 3: Free email addresses for members
One fairly simple benefit we might provide to our members is a waldenpdk.org email address. Our website hosting contract actually includes provision for 999 email addresses that we are free to assign as we wish. So, for instance, when a member joins the chapter, we might automatically set them up with an email address. They could either have their email program check that address in addition to their other address(es), or, the address could be set to automatically forward their waldenpdk.org email to their usual address, or, they could access the account using a webpage linked easily from our home page.
This would not cost the chapter more money, but it would clearly mean more work for the webmaster (or the mailing list manager, assuming we do institute and fill that position—see the bylaws update idea page).

Jan 2 update: Here is a screen capture of the webpage where you could go to use your waldenpdk.org email address. You could alternatively set your current email program to pull in your waldenpdk.org mail--your preference.
